Paul J. Slosar, M.D.SpineCare Medical Group
Dr. Slosar is president of the SpineCare Medical Group and an orthopedic spine surgeon certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Board of Spine Surgery. In his 12-plus years of practice he has developed several specialties with a focus on minimally-invasive surgical techniques and spinal motion preservation technologies to diagnose and treat neck and low back pain. For the treatment of vertebral compression fractures, Dr. Slosar has pioneered the RF Kyphoplasy procedure, one of the safest and most advanced systems available for the treatment of VCFs. He is frequently invited to train other surgeons on innovative spine technology and techniques.
Dr. Slosar is a member of the North American Spine Society (NASS) where he has served on several influential NASS committees, and is a member of the prestigious International Society for the Study of the Lumbar Spine. He has authored numerous articles for medical journals and textbooks. He has lectured nationally and internationally on painful spinal disorders and state-of-the-art treatment, and is a reviewer for and serves on the editorial boards of several medical journals including The Spine Journal Orthopedic Technology Review, Spine, and SpineLine. He received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois.
