2009 J. Lohr Estates Riverstone Chardonnay, Arroyo Seco
Full, richly textured wine with aromas of ripe bosc pear, fuji apple, lime and honeysuckle, with a bouquet of perfumed vanilla and toasty oak. A well balanced wine with a long toasty oak and vanilla finish. A wonderful pairing with oven-roasted chicken, Dungeness crab or grilled salmon.
2009 J. Lohr Estates Falcon's Perch Pinot Noir, Arroyo Seco
Aromas of wild strawberry, cherry, rose petal and dried herbs, with a lively acidity and delicate tannins. Delicious with butternut squash ravioli with sage brown butter or roasted game, duck or veal.
2009 J. Lohr Estates Bay Mist White Riesling, Monterey County
Enticing fruit aromas of apple, apricot, peach, and Bosc pear. Refreshing acidity with a slight spritz. Pairs well with Pacific Rim cuisine such as Thai chicken or beef satay, grilled soy-marinated salmon or served as an aperitif.
Paraiso Vineyards2007 Chardonnay - This balance of crisp aromatic freshness backed by creamy texture was achieved by French oak and stainless steel fermentations. The aromas of ripe pear, baked apple pie and lemon are an added bonus to complement flavors of meringue, vanilla and apple.
